Postnatal Yoga & Baby Massage
A class in which new mum's can relax, renew energy and enjoy gentle exercise assisting recovery from pregnancy and birth. Baby Yoga and Massage also provide a great bonding experience for Mum and baby and benefit babies in many ways. As well as providing a forum for meeting other mother's of young children this class aims to provide you with some simple tools to support you in adapting to a changing rythym of life.
Baby massage
you will learn a simple but complete full body baby massage with organic pure vegetable oils suitable for your baby.
Baby massage:
nourishes your baby, encouraging tissue growth and healthy joints.
Helps soothe agitation and promotes restful sleep.
Assists digestion and colic relief.
Develops body and movement awareness.
Builds bonding and confidence between mother and baby.
Postnatal Yoga will focus on:
Suitable Yoga asana or postures, to release tension and rebuild strength and tone.
Specific techniques for strengthening and maintaining the pelvic floor and abdominals.
Breathing practices to quieten the mind and increase energy.
Relaxation techniques for home use to help balance energy & induce restful sleep.
