The Workshop includes

• The Background to Yoga and an Introduction to Yoga philosophy and to meditation techniques

• Yoga practice; theory of postures, devising a practice to suit your needs.

• Yoga psychology: the link between mind, body and breath. Introduction to some key concepts from “the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali”, an ancient teaching, as relevant today as ever.  

• The aYs Introductory Study Course “Certificate of Completion” will be given after completion of both days.

Some Yoga experience essential regardless of tradition or approach.
